National Church Life Survey

Welcome to the New River Leadership website

Thanks for your interest in the workshops and intensives we are running across Australia in 2012 to help people and churches What is your purpose, your direction, and where does it come from?prepare for and make the most of the findings of NCLS 2011.  That’s great!

If you want to make the most of NCLS survey resources, prepare yourself first…

New River Leadership was founded by Peter Kaldor, the inaugural director of NCLS Research (1991-2000) and responsible for past NCLS research into effective leadership and leader wellbeing. Building on that research, he and his team have developed workshops and a unique multi day intensive to help participants develop their leadership capacities and foundations.

New River workshops and intensives are designed to provide you and your teams with constructive approaches to growing your leadership capacities; discovering and taking forward new possibilities and building your capacities to lead effectively in times of change. They will help individuals and teams better engage NCLS congregational profiles and growing shared directions for the future.  For what we offer at a glance, see below.

If you want to make the most of NCLS survey resources, take the time to prepare and grow your strengths in a positive supportive environment.

Workshops: Workshops are designed to be suitable for both individuals and teams. Two workshops will be made available during 2012 to coincide with the return of NCLS survey results: Lead with your Strengths and Leading in times of Change.

Making a Difference Leadership Intensives: Take a ‘balcony’ view of your life and leadership and determine priorities for the future. New River multi day intensives enable you to grow your leadership capacities and personal potential in a supportive but challenging environment. They provide a coherent learning experience for you to explore who you are – as well as what you do. Find out more here.
